Answer: Sun Chiropractic is located at 3421 Portage Avenue, Unit 5. We are at the corner of Portage and Cavalier, across Cavalier from the Safeway. We have been at this location serving Crestview, Westwood, and St. James for over 30 years.
Q: What can I expect during my first visit to Sun Chiropractic?
Answer: Your first visit takes approximately 30 to 45 min. It includes a comprehensive health history, a physical assessment of your posture and range of motion, and, in most cases, your first chiropractic treatment. We will recommend X-rays if required, and there are no contracts or long-term treatment commitments.
Q: What is a chiropractic adjustment like?
Answer: Most chiropractic adjustments are painless, and many patients feel immediate relief. You may hear a "popping" sound, which is simply the release of gas bubbles from the joint; some patients experience mild, temporary soreness similar to the feeling after a workout. But this is most often short-lived. Chiropractic adjustments are safe, effective, and evidence-based.
Q: Can chiropractic care help with sciatica or leg pain?
Answer: Yes, chiropractic care is very helpful for many types of acute and chronic low back pain, including sciatica. Other common conditions we treat are neck pain, headache, and shoulder pain, whiplash, as well as many sports, motorvehicle and work-related injuries.

Answer: Yes, Sun Chiropractic offers direct billing for most major insurance providers, as well as Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) and Workers Compensation Board (WCB) claims. Our team handles the paperwork directly to minimize out-of-pocket expenses for our patients.
